· dr mays treats the body as a whole this is where he finds out the root cause of the symptom vs focusing on the symptom · we do everything using bloodwork – we do an extensive and comprehensive blood panel (in purple folder in filing cabinet) · we use labcorp · the bloodwork is $250 per person $50 only gets entered in as payment · the bloodwork report takes 7 10 business days to come back · a spouse must be present at the time dr mays goes over the report with the patient – no exceptions to this! · we try to have them fill out the functional medicine intake (the forms i gave to mrs patrick) · we block the schedule for at least 45 minutes during this initial consult if they’re accepted in to the program… · a personalized care plan is made with nutritional tools and supplements · 3 month program or 6 month program · patients get a binder with all of the tools they need along with a health 1st tote bag · they follow up one week after they pick up all of their items · then they follow up two weeks thereafter · so if ms smith picks up her items on 1/1 then her next appt is 1/8 and then her appt after that is 1/22 · they fill out the functional medicine daily note (in purple folder in filing cabinet) each visit · we block the schedule for at least 30 minutes during those functional medicine visits notes
