entering insurance there are 2 tabs you will be using for this procedure (guarantor and policy) guarantor – select proper patient relation policy select proper payor/insurance plan select proper policy type enter policy number \[member id] enter group number effective date + expire date copayment, insured person \[select same as guarantor] save authorization – we utilize to track visit limit \[ select payor explanation visit limit start + end date \[use the effective dates of the policy] authorized visits remaining \[deduct visits used] save select no to preview report case info if auto, work, or other accident – select proper box + state occurred date of onset initial treatment date last x ray date if patient was x rayed in the office on initial dos save secondary/supplements select proper policy type secondary or supplement enter all details as you did for primary for medicare supplements, and if it’s an automatic crossover from medicare if it’s a regular secondary, you do not need to select automatic crossover
