PATIENT UPDATE

patient update is for any patient who has not been seen in over 6 months, but less than 1 year after the patient has filled out the form, take the patient back and take only their vitals and bring the patient update form back with you (dr mays only needs the re exam form) search for patient in the ehr software update all contact information under demographics tab save pull up patient in ehr under initial enter dos in "details 1" tab skip over to "history/examination" tab you will only enter vitals, medications, allergies and smoking status with what matches the patient update assign doc under "supports rx tx' tab mark as to do label "patient name vitals, meds, allergies, entered" close out of rapid doc, it will automatically save initial form scan and file away
