steps for extracting patient data from smartcloud note – anything that can be printed in smartcloud can be saved as a pdf or xps file on your pc proceed to printing the desired information as normal but when you get to the printer selection screen, instead of selecting your standard printer you normally use choose ‘microsoft print to pdf’ or ‘microsoft xps writer’ instead then when you click print the pc will process the data and a save box will pop up (allowing you to name and save the file to a location on your pc) note – the csv files saved from smartcloud can be opened in microsoft excel (or other spreadsheet software) and printed out on paper or to a pdf file using the above process appointment history from the patient appointment list application (located in the front desk module), you can generate and export a list of your appointments select previous 180 days or next 180 days, click show report to generate the list, then click the export button in the top left corner this will provide you with a csv output that can be retained, imported into excel, or another system repeat the process to get the following 180 days or previous 180 days until you have all of your appointments exported patient demographics you may export your patient demographics using the patient birthday list app (located in the front desk module) select a month, click the ‘show report’ report button to display the data, then click the ‘export’ button in the top left corner note this will need to be completed once for each month patient statements you may print (to paper, pdf, or onenote) a statement for all of your patients be sure the timeframe selected for each patient includes all of their dates of service and all of the dates of their payments ledger entries you may export your ledger entries by patient in a csv format that can be imported into excel, or another system note that this needs to be done per patient patient files, notes, and attachments any patient file can be printed out, including patient notes from the e h r section of the application, you may select one or more files from the list and perform a batch print note that this needs to be done per patient reports any report can be printed for reference and many reports can also be saved to a csv file that can be imported into excel, or another system note that some reports may need to be run at smaller date ranges
