New Patient Entry and Medical Alerts

new patient entry process step 1 accessing the patient tab locate the patient tab on the far left of the screen it is the third icon from the top step 2 adding a new patient click on “add new patient” enter the following details first name last name date of birth sex social security number contact information, including address (street, city, state, zip code) phone number (specify type) email address click “save” to confirm the entry recording medical alerts step 1 navigate to the patient overview ensure you are in the patient overview section step 2 adding an alert/note click on “alerts and notes” click “add alert or note” and select “alert” mode in the message box, enter a specific medical concern (e g , “patient has pacemaker”) ensure the alert is set to always display include checking the "always on" option confirm that the alert settings are applied so that it appears in every section of the patient record step 3 finalizing the alert/note once the message and settings are completed, click “save” at the bottom the alert will consistently display every time the patient's record is accessed
